The River Life Resort

We had to drive around 4-5 km to find reasonably priced local food because the place is a little out of the way. It was worth the trip, though. The beds were comfortable, the staff were fantastic, and having a private bathroom was a nice bonus. A great stay for anyone who loves nature.

The setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed a few good days there. The food and breakfast were both good too. But finding the place was difficult, with no sign on the main road, and the raft room by the river felt very dated. The pool shown in the photos still wasn't working. There are lots of chairs, so it's not suitable for people with disabilities. We wouldn't go back, sorry.

We arrived to a spectacular, peaceful view of the river, and the host was kind and flexible, communicating with us in English. She let our pet stay for a small deposit, which was fully returned after we left. The accommodation was clean and set up to be practical, with enough room for storage, hanging clothes, and relaxing. We saw other guests cooking their own food, and the meals served here had plenty of good options. I was very satisfied with our stay.

We came as a family of six and stayed in raft bedrooms. The location, air conditioning, and fast internet were the positives. We booked two rooms for five people and one 13-year-old child, but were charged an extra 1000 Baht for the girl. We had paid for two nights and are leaving after one because we can't recommend the place. The toilet was filthy, the closet nearly fell over when someone sat on it, and there were lots of cockroaches. The shower pressure was very weak, and the beds were too soft and need replacing. The raft houses kept bumping into each other all night, so my wife couldn't sleep.
