The place itself was nice. I stayed in the 800 baht room away from the river and had no trouble with smelly plumbing or the river and pipe noise mentioned in reviews of the riverside rooms. As I understand it, the resort owner no longer works with OYO, though OYO still takes payment and then the resort charges you again. Don't pay OYO based on its listed price. The owner has notices at the resort about this. The prices are 800 for an AC room and 1,000 for a river-view room, payable on arrival. Don't get scammed by OYO. See attached.

A welcoming, simple resort with a large garden that's well cared for. The pastel-colored bungalows are nice, clean, and cozy, with air conditioning and a TV. We had a comfortable stay and didn't encounter any mosquitoes despite being by the river. Recommended.

The pontoon plumbing pipes shook and banged against the pontoons all night in the current, while the ropes holding the pontoons together creaked and groaned. I barely slept. The water bungalow we'd paid extra to upgrade to also smelled of old cigarette smoke and mold. We were offered an upgraded breakfast, but it hadn't been prepared and amounted to Thai coffee and toast. The service was poor and the staff didn't seem to care. Probably the worst experience of our two-month stay in Thailand.

The riverside chalets are small but comfortable and cozy. There's lots of greenery, trees, and flowers around them. The staff were kind, the location is great, and it was excellent value for money.

Service was bad, and the walkways connecting the rooms felt dangerous. There was no housekeeping, the breakfast was terrible, and we were overcharged. You can't pay by credit card, and the TV only had one channel. ]l)
