Pimulano Hotel

I paid 550 baht a night for one of the front rooms, and it was great value. The room was spacious, with a huge soaking tub for two. I think you have to pay extra to use the tub, since the door was locked, but that didn’t matter to me as a solo traveler. I’d recommend staying here if you need a place for several days.

There's a market within walking distance, and the hotel is just off the main road between Sakon Nakhon city and Tha Rae. The front has a large parking area. It's not very busy and offers no extra services, but the room was fine for a short stay.

The bungalows behind the hotel are 350 baht, and they’re set well back from the road. The main building also blocks traffic noise, so it’s quiet, with a big green space outside. The room was spacious and in good condition, with a large bed, clean linen, a TV, fridge, air conditioning and kettle. The bathroom was standard size and had a hot shower. There are restaurants across the road and a 7-11 nearby. The staff member was helpful. Very good value for money.

Breakfast was delicious, and the room and bathroom were both clean and spacious. I especially liked the rain shower. The staff were attentive and helpful. We left the car lamp on overnight and the battery ran down, but a staff member crossed the main road to find a technician and get us help. I was very impressed and highly recommend the place if you’re driving, since there aren’t stores nearby.
