This is a small family-run place, and they do everything they can to make you feel welcome, happy, and comfortable. The staff were so friendly, and I really enjoyed meeting them. It’s pet friendly too, with some very friendly dogs hanging around, which I loved. I stayed seven nights and didn’t want to leave. The location is just right for a calm, restful break, with a beautiful beach and pool. My room had everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Meals are cooked one at a time, so the Thai food was exactly what you want and delicious. The beach has tons of shells and feels very safe. The water stays shallow for a long way, so you can walk or swim out without it going over your head. I thought the beach was absolutely perfect. I’ll definitely come back next year.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the beaches around here are quieter. The hotel is opposite the beach, literally 10m away. The owner and staff were so helpful and welcoming. The food really pleased us. Breakfast was plentiful and filling, all freshly cooked to order. In the evening I had the Penang curry, which I could live on. It was really fragrant, and none of the food we ordered had excess fats. This place is a true gem, worth a stay while traveling or for a longer, relaxing break about 4 hours from Bangkok on a motorbike.

I was there for one night. The room itself was fine, with a comfortable bed and clean sheers, but the bathroom let it down. The small shelf for the shampoo and body wash hadn’t been cleaned, with soapy ring marks under the bottles. The toilet was yellow edging toward brown and looked pretty disgusting, not something you want to sit on. The bum gun and its bracket had brown all over them. I couldn’t tell if it was dirt or someone’s poo stains, but it was very off-putting. There were also really big ants crawling around and on the toilet. Breakfast was good. When I went back for a second cup of coffee, though, the resident cat jumped up and took a sausage from my plate.
