The owners and staff were friendly, and the room was clean. The view was lovely, and it stayed nice and quiet at night. Coffee and tea are available for free to serve yourself in the morning.

For the price, the accommodation is really good: a comfortable bed, a beautiful location, and everything clean and well cared for. The owner is lovely and makes an effort to help guests have a good stay, including helping arrange things and cooking if you’re hungry. Just don’t expect a lot of luxury, such as a hot shower.

The owner was amazingly helpful and friendly, and speaks good English. The quiet, relaxed bungalows sit around a dam, with plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby. Bikes and scooters are available to rent, which makes getting around easy. It’s 1.5 km to the beach and 2.5 km to the main western restaurants along the beach, and reaching the sights around the region gives you a decent bit of exercise.

We booked four days and ended up staying ten. The clean rooms were comfortable and cool, and the host was really helpful. It’s a convenient driving distance from everything. You can walk to the beach in around 40 minutes, but you need your own transport to visit the National Park, and they offer transport. There aren’t many places to eat right nearby, but if you tell the host you’re hungry, he’ll cook chicken and vegetables for you. One thing we hadn’t realized at first was that the showers are cold, which makes sense for where you are, but it was a bit of a shock until we got used to it. We loved the stay. The place is picturesque, with so much to see and do. There’s also an adorable little kitty who came by our hut every day for a cuddle. She won’t stop meowing until you fuss over her.
