The owner responds quickly, and the room was clean. I also liked having a washer, and the pool was a nice touch, though there was mold and buildup on its sides. It isn’t private, so staff and people passing through the lobby can see you. Whenever I swam, they stared. Three other men made me uncomfortable, especially around breakfast from 8:30am-12pm. They lingered outside the breakfast area and only went in after I left, staring at me the whole time. The location is difficult without your own transport. Everything feels far away, and trips into Bangkok add up. Pak Nam station is nearby, but two people paid 118 baht to get to Bangkok, depending on destination, and Grab also costs a lot. FoodPanda was cheaper when I tried it, but the order was cancelled because they couldn’t find the place. The receptionist watched and overheard me trying to explain to the driver, but didn’t offer help. I found her rude and unhelpful. One worker was always working and cleaning, while the others just sat in the office talking on their phones. It didn’t feel welcoming, and knowing some Thai would be best. Grab drivers are much better at finding places. The room was only cleaned once during my stay, late in the afternoon, and they don’t leave extra toilet paper. The neighbors played loud music late at night, and if someone is above you, you can hear the pipes. The TV didn’t work for me. Breakfast supplies include a toaster, microwave, bowls, plates, utensils and hot water, with bread and noodles to eat, plus cups for coffee or water. There are 7/11s a short walk in either direction. To the right is a small outdoor food court. To the left there’s a pricey cafe, and farther along, a police station and other buildings.
