Grand Inter Hotel

The staff were welcoming and polite, and I had no issue with them at check-in or during other interactions. The room looked nice at first and was decent, though little details made it feel less finished than I expected. After midnight, loud music was coming from somewhere in the hotel. I couldn’t tell if it was an event, a nearby room, or a function space, but it was disruptive. People book a hotel to sleep, and music that late defeats the point. The other thing that really bothered me was a two-page list of prices for damage to nearly everything in the room. I’ve stayed at hotels around the world and never seen anything so excessive. It made me uncomfortable, almost afraid to move around or touch things. Instead of feeling relaxed, it felt like I’d been given a warning manual. Between the late noise and that intimidating list, this stay didn’t feel comfortable or stress-free. Friendly staff alone couldn’t make up for it.

I picked this hotel for a factory meeting because it was nearby and convenient. The rooms were clean, the place was quiet and relaxing, and the staff gave excellent service.

The price was really good, and it’s a cheap place to stay. But the night reception team were not good at all. I needed an extra pillow for medical reasons and was spoken to very rudely. I did eventually get one, but the service was poor.

A lot of restaurants nearby, so finding dinner was easy. The staff were super friendly, the rooms clean and comfy, and breakfast was good. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Rama ll road, and makes a great stop if you’ve had a long day driving toward South Thailand.
