Chiangmai Lanna & Modern Loft Hotel

The pictures made the hotel and rooms look nice, but our rooms weren’t clean. Inside the small fridge was dirty, and there was dust, little webs, dirt, and dead bugs along the walls and under and behind the furniture. The younger receptionist didn’t understand English. The older man was nice and spoke English, but we only saw him when we checked out. During our three nights, across two rooms, no water or toilet paper was provided.

The place looked lovely when I arrived, but my room was full of mosquitoes. Reception had no bug spray, so I had to go into town to find some. Not a great start.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and ready to help whenever we needed something. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and well-considered amenities. Wi-Fi was fast, and the shower had great water pressure. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

I was glad I tried this place, even though it’s far from the city center. The price and 4.9/5 rating made it appealing. It was my first time in Thailand, and I stayed one night here as a solo traveler on my third day. The room was large and clean, with a big bathroom, a fridge, and even the towels were neatly arranged. I liked the quiet, the nature outside, the lobby, and the little pond area. If you need a place in Chiang mai, I recommend staying here.
