Now called Maison du Vieil Homme, this is a lovely place to stay. The village is charming, the garden is lovely, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great, and you can use a bike for free or rent an inexpensive scooter. Victor is welcoming and friendly. If you're after a peaceful spot in Chiang Mai away from the city buzz, I'd highly recommend it.

The quiet and natural setting gave my daughters a new kind of experience. They learned a lot about rice, and we could enjoy the silence and closeness to nature. I plan to return on my own next time and catch up on my huge book collection. It's about a 10-minute drive to Tao Gardens. If you can ride a bike, that helps with getting around. Uber isn't very reliable in this area, but Gabriel will take you places if needed. With kids who get bored easily, make sure to hire a car. The place is beautiful and peaceful, hard to put into words if you love books and want somewhere to escape. Gabriel does all he can to make your stay better, so don't hesitate to ask for what you need. His wife was always smiling and caring towards my daughters. I can't think of anything bad to say about the place.

It's a bit outside downtown Chiang Mai, but makes a perfect quiet getaway. You can hire bikes and take a ride on the peaceful roads nearby. The accommodation is beautiful, the beds are clean, and the service is impressive. A real pleasure, full marks from me.
