We paid 1,500 baht a night expecting to sleep, but the room was directly under the dining area and we could hear chairs scraping and people talking. It started around midnight, then began again at about 4-5 AM and went on for two hours. It sounded like construction, or a bad drilling machine. We asked staff to tell the customers to quiet down, but nothing changed. A dining event at 4 AM is hard to understand, and the resort needs stricter quiet hours. There was also a strong sewage smell. The room itself was clean, but the sheets and towels had heavy stains that made them look dirty, and I worried we might be blamed for the marks. The front desk staff member was kind and showed us around, but the stay was still disappointing. I'd give it 1.5 stars.

After a long ride to see the Mon Bridge, we booked a night here because the place looked nice and they let us check the rooms first. The other guests, some middle-aged to senior Thai people, were very loud late at night and again early in the morning. We hoped staff would ask them to keep it down, but no one did. Even our driver asked the staff about it.

The room was clean and pretty standard, and for the price I can't complain. Breakfast coffee was the letdown, though. If there'd been another option, I would've bought one instead of drinking that instant coffee.

From the rooms you get a nice view over the river. This is a fairly new hotel in Sangkhla buri, a small town near the Myanmar border. The rooms are adequate and have standard amenities, though there are no English channels. Photos are on the profile.

It's a new build and the place is clean, with good staff. Sangklaburi is a small city, so the location works fine for getting around its lovely attractions and plenty of Morn traditional spirit.
