Room 515 worked well for me, and I’d suggest choosing a Grand Deluxe or another larger room since those seemed better. When I extended my stay by a night, the receptionist downstairs arranged for me to keep the same room. He also sorted out an early check-in at 6 am for an extra 500 thb, which felt like a good deal compared with booking the previous night.

For my 12 days there, the stay was satisfactory. It’s a mid-range place for travellers who aren’t too fussy, with some basic amenities, though toothbrushes and toothpaste weren’t provided. The main drawback for us was getting just one keycard for a room shared by two people.

For a quick two-night stay for my embassy appointment, this was fine, especially since I didn’t want to pay for an expensive place. The room and bathroom were clean, though calling it “deluxe” made me laugh 😆. There were two bottles of water in the fridge and a coffee maker, but no coffee or microwave. The safe was useful, and the AC worked fine despite making a little noise. It’s a 12-minute walk to BTS transportation, and there’s plenty of food around, as usual in Bangkok.

The service felt awful to most of the people in my group when we visited Bangkok, though maybe some guests would feel differently. The toilets and rooms smelled bad, there were no windows in the rooms and no daylight, and the rooms had no ventilation. It was also quite noisy. The nearby graveyard was poorly maintained and full of mosquitoes, visible through the small toilet window. Breakfast was something I wouldn’t want to try. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
