Costa Village Bangsaray - Mykonos Building

For a cheap one-night stay, it worked well for us, though the location felt isolated and may be hard for foreign tourists. You really need your own transport, parking was packed, and there's no garden or shared lounging area besides the pool. There's no restaurant service despite the website saying all-day dining: breakfast is pre-order, and they sell packaged snacks and ice cream. Food choices nearby are limited. Maybe the place was aimed at a higher-end market at first, but the location doesn't support that; now it seems more budget-focused, which could explain the weaker upkeep and service. Still, it was good enough for us. The building has a quaint Greek look instead of being a plain square apartment block, and the views are nice. We got it very cheap, the room size was decent for the price, and there's free wifi, a slow Smart TV, and a small but nice rooftop pool. The aircon needs cleaning, since we had to run it at full power to cool the room and it was noisy. The lift was slow and busy, though manageable. A good option if you're in the area briefly or exploring by yourself on a budget.

The rooms are nice, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The pool area is the problem. There are lots of staff downstairs sitting around, but no one seems to look after the rooftop pool. It gets dirty, with pigeon shit on the sunbeds, around the pool, and on the railings.

You can find some peace here, away from people, surrounded by quiet and nature. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I didn't use the jacuzzi because it looked a bit old and worn. The city center and Pattaya are about 20 minutes away, and a taxi through Bolt or Grab costs from 200 baht. Food options are limited, so you need to order from one or two nearby beach restaurants or online through Grab.

If you like a quiet place in nature, this hotel might suit you, but you'll need your own car to get here and drive to restaurants. There's no buffet or à la carte service. They sell water, a few snacks, and ice cream. The beach is about 50 meters away, though getting there on foot takes strong knees. The room had cold air conditioning, a soft bed, complimentary water, toiletries, and hospitality tray items. Restaurants along the beach have affordable burgers, Thai food, and steak.
