The hotel is close to the beach, which you can walk to, and also near the small town market of Ambassador. There are plenty of restaurants and car gourmet restaurants there. We had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff were very welcoming, especially Lilith, whose help made a real difference. It was easy to communicate in English, and several patient waiters helped us sort out problems. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with lots of local dishes.

The nice decor was what first impressed me, especially for the price. After that, the stay was a letdown. Parking was badly managed over the holiday, with too few spaces and a chaotic search for a place to leave the car. I could hear noise from other rooms all night through the very thin walls, so sleeping was difficult. The towels looked old and were dirty, and the floor in my room wasn’t clean either. I expected more from a Wyndham hotel and can’t recommend it.

I stayed for two nights, and the staff upgraded my room without me even asking, which I’d never experienced before. The pool was clean and beautiful, breakfast was great, and the room had all the facilities. It was a great stay. If you’re reading this, go ahead and book here.

The quiet beach is much nicer, and I’d go back. The hotel is a little way from Jomtien’s main strip, and I had trouble getting a Grab on New Year’s Eve. Breakfast was good at the neighboring hotel, with a shuttle to get there. My room was comfortable and the staff were good, though the garden view wasn’t much of a view. The TV selection was a problem: for a US company, RT, a Russian propaganda channel, was the only English-language option. They did upgrade me to complimentary breakfast to make up for the room.
