Nordic Tropical Resort

There are pools near the rooms, and you can swim whenever you like. Cooking is allowed, and the big, cozy, clean rooms are affordable for a group to share. It’s especially nice to sit outside and chat with friends or family in the afternoon or after the sun goes down. The setting is quiet, so it suits anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Outside, the rooms are designed like old Thai houses, while the interior style depends on the owner’s taste.

The resort felt secluded, yet beaches, local cafes, and sites were still handy to reach. Our sports group had a relaxed, quiet stay in the nicely decorated bungalows and apartments. The pools, restaurant, minimart, gym, and open green spaces all added to the setting. I’d recommend it to anyone or any group looking for a quiet retreat.

I spent 2 months at Nordic, working from home while getting away from Bangkok. The apartments are spacious, and the kitchens are fully equipped. There were slight internet issues, but they were resolved promptly. Management was friendly and responsive. The community has 3 pools, a gym, and a restaurant/cafe. I totally recommend Nordic. The advertised facilities are mostly worn out or unavailable, and the electricity cuts out regularly during and after rain. The nearby forest and lake shown in the promotion are restricted military areas, so you can't access them. Machine-gun fire from the neighborhood overwhelms the supposedly peaceful setting. Management and reception staff came across as arrogant and disrespectful. This place feels abandoned.
