I paid Agoda in advance for a booking on July 5th, 2020, and got a confirmation email. But when I arrived, the accommodation said they knew nothing about it and wanted extra money if I was going to stay. I don't understand how Agoda and the property failed to coordinate. They told me to contact Agoda myself, but I couldn't get through. I ended up paying more, which left me really upset. So who's responsible, me, the accommodation, or Agoda?

The bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on a wooden floor, and I woke up with bad back pain after a poor night's sleep. The room smelled musty and seemed barely used. The TV didn't work, and no one had checked the room first. The service was awful. Once was enough for me.

It wasn't ready to receive guests at all. They were spraying mosquito repellent just as customers were about to check in, and the place had a strong musty smell.
