The main downside is the distance from activities, so having a car or motorbike would help. Still, this is a great budget stay: very clean, with good service and morning coffee, tea, and toast that guests can prepare themselves at reception. There’s a 7-Eleven about a three-minute walk away, plus some really good Thai food stalls and restaurants nearby. Definitely worth the price.

I wish I’d stayed longer. The 500 baht room here was comfortable, including the bed, and the staff were nice. It’s not five-star, but it doesn’t feel like a three-star place either, and the price is especially good for this area. Afterward I moved to a 400 baht place ten minutes away, and that turned out to be a terrible mistake. I’ve been traveling around Asia for about 16 months and have had plenty of cheap rooms I didn’t like. Thailand’s prices have gone up so much, too. I’d stay here again.
