The Mangrove Hotel

For Muslim guests, the breakfast includes pork. We didn’t ask in advance, so that part was our oversight, though it would have helped if staff had mentioned it since we’re Muslim and from Malaysia. Aside from that, everything was good. At checkout, the night shift staff told us a glass and a towel were missing, which surprised us. We’d checked the room carefully before leaving, hadn’t spent much time there, and hadn’t used many items. To avoid misunderstandings, future guests may want to take photos or videos of the room and its contents at both check-in and checkout.

The checkout service was a really thoughtful touch. We were leaving early, and the staff prepared food for us to take on the trip. Everyone was kind and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay.

A good choice for families, with a nice pool and a play area for kids. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms had everything we needed. The restaurant serves a decent breakfast for B150 per person.

Good value for the money. The three buildings operate together, each with its own pool, while breakfast is served in the Mangrove part. Breakfast was very good, Thai style. Reception was efficient and pleasant, though there wasn’t much English spoken and it was still okay. The room was large but a bit dull. Internet was good, but amenities were limited to liquid soap and shampoo, so bring your own oral care. There’s no beach right there, so you have to walk. You’ll find some massage places, a small laundry, and a 7-11 about two minutes away. There wasn’t any good value food around, and no bike rental. Recommended.
