A Plus Hotel Koh Lipe - Hostel

We got great value for money on Koh Lipe. The owner and staff were friendly and went out of their way to help when our plans changed at the last minute, even though the island was already fully booked. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the WiFi worked much better than at other hotels on the island. It’s just off Walking Street, so shops and restaurants are easy to get to.

The people here are what made both of my stays so memorable. Oat was warm, kind, and sincere from the start, and the care felt personal. After a while it felt less like being in a hotel and more like visiting friends. I first came in December 2022, then returned with my sister around late 2023 / early 2024. A female chef made simple, clean traditional Thai food with so much care, and Oat even shared food that had been cooked for the staff. Those little gestures meant a lot to me. I’ll always remember the warmth and lovely atmosphere, and would happily return. 🤍 P.s better late, than never. this is Victoria from Uzbekistan hehe. Our room, A301, was basic but had what we needed for a short visit. The central location was handy, though music from a nearby bar played loudly until about 1am each night, which could be tough if you’re a light sleeper. Breakfast was very average, and they got our order wrong on two of the three mornings we ate there. The worst part was getting bitten by bed bugs during our stay. It was uncomfortable and really disappointing. At 80€ a night, I didn’t feel it was worth the price.

The room was spotless, with no odd smells or mold, and it was quiet and relaxing. Staff were excellent and helpful, and treated me really well. They arranged taxis to and from the boats. I loved staying here :)
