Those steep steps up to the rooms may not work for everyone, and monkeys came over when they caught the smell of my wasabi peanuts on the balcony. The room view was beautiful, breakfast had a good range and quality, and I especially liked the delicious bobo cha cha. Room service was quick and responsive. Maintenance and service were less reassuring. The water heater and rain shower were loose and felt unsafe, and reporting it didn't get the problem properly fixed. One staff member said a bucket of ice was available before 5pm, but when we asked in time, another said that service didn't exist. There also wasn't a clear on-site manager to take feedback to, and staff responses weren't very helpful. Lovely setting, but maintenance and staff training need work.

The location felt like a dream, close to everything but in a quiet part of the beach. We loved the sea view from the room, the comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, and how clean everything was. Even the towels smelled lovely. Breakfast was varied and excellent, and the food overall was so good I can't imagine eating better elsewhere on the island. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, which made our first time in Thailand feel easy, and the manager was attentive too. I travel a lot, but leaving this place brought a little tear to my eye. It really got to me, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The room was spotless, with a light citronella scent on the towels, sheets, and pillows, and the hotel has a breathtaking view in a great location. We got there before check-in, but the staff had our room ready early. We hadn't expected the hotel to pick us up at the port, thinking we'd need a taxi, so that was a really appreciated gesture. A kind, warm woman welcomed us and helped throughout our stay. Everything was excellent from arrival to departure, and we'll definitely come back.

We paid 6500bath a night and couldn't wait to leave. The room had a nice view, but for the price the room and service weren't worth it. Breakfast was neither good nor bad. The water heater kept cutting out. They fixed it quickly when I called, but it failed again the next day while I was in the shower. They also didn't replenish toilet paper or shampoo unless we asked. Then I found a medium-sized cockroach on the bed beside my pillow as I was about to sleep. We also kept waking up with more red spots on our legs. They weren't itchy, and we don't know what caused them. It wasn't bedbugs, mosquitoes, or ants as far as we could tell. My husband had more bites than I did, and the spots increased each morning over our three nights.
