The staff deserve a special mention. I left my wedding ring in the room, and Mr Thannadon at the front desk went out of his way to help. He contacted the ferry company, and they got my ring to our next stop in Malaysia. Employee of the year! We also got a complimentary bottle of red wine on Christmas Eve, and it was nice to choose either sun or shade by the pool in the afternoon. We had a wonderful time at Dong Talay Lipe Beach Resort and were really pleased with the hotel, its location, and the breakfast with that stunning view. We’ll be back!

We had room G8 for three nights and were so pleased with it. It was super clean, almost like new, and came with a big fridge. They replenished the water every day. Breakfast was very basic, but it was a nice stay overall.

Mr Dong was a pleasure to meet. The people here were fantastic, treated us like family, and helped us out when we were in trouble. The food was great too.

The beach is beautiful, the room was clean, and there was a nice breakfast buffet. Best of all, the people were super nice. What else do you need? :)

It’s under a minute to walk to the beach, and even closer if you’re lucky enough to get one of the better rooms or huts. Breakfast was okay, though I’d personally rather pay for a better one somewhere else. Prices weren’t consistent, and they said they’d pick me up when I arrived but never did, so I’m taking off a star. Even so, it’s a very good place to stay overall.
