The location is great, right in the village center, near the beach, 7eleven, shops, and night market. The market can get a little noisy in the evening, but the balcony has a lovely view. Our family's room facing the street was a bit quieter. We all loved the rooms and the people here. The place is run by sisters who were so kind and chatty, and we felt like part of the family, especially our little son. The room was one of the best we've had in Thailand: large and bright, with a huge comfy bed, lovely linen and towels, and a nice bathroom. It was clean throughout and smelled good. There was a big fridge, reliable Wi-Fi, AC, a fan, and a spot to make tea and coffee. Their homemade muesli was delicious too.

Really enjoyed our few nights here. The staff were lovely, the room was large with a balcony and good AC, and the beach and everything else we needed were just a 5-10 minute walk away.

The coffee in khao lak was the best! The staff were lovely and could help with whatever we needed. They made it really easy to arrange a transfer or book a trip once we asked.

This friendly, comfortable guest house is run by three sisters and is very clean. Downstairs they serve food, share tourist information, make bookings, and rent motorbikes. They were a huge help when I needed to plan travel to my next destination. One thing to know: the location marker on booking.com is wrong. Google has the right location and phone number. You can also contact the owner Wow directly on whatsapp.

At Parisia, the dining terrace also has a friendly travel kiosk, and the spot is on the shady, cooler side of the street with a nice breeze. Hewi is a charming host who'll happily cook to suit what you need, and the service is really friendly. There's fresh coffee, a good breakfast, and authentic thai food, fruit, and vegetables. If you're after food that feels healthy, you can find it here. I don't have shares in Parisia, but when something this good turns up in a tourist trap like Khao Lak, you have to spread the word. Enjoy!
