It was very quiet here, a good fit if you're trying to get away from a busy lifestyle, and the sunset was amazing. I paid £44 per night for an air-conditioned sea view room at the end of April 2018. It was clean, and the mattress was comfortable enough, though not great. There's a kettle and TV, but no fridge. They provide a cooler box, so I'd bring back some ice for your water and other drinks. If you want the room cleaned, you have to ask. Otherwise they leave you alone, though you can ask for things like two bottles of water a day. Laundry was 60 baht per kilo, about the same as elsewhere. The private beach is shared with just one other resort. A taxi to Walking Street or anywhere on the island is usually 50 baht. Bring plenty of spray for mosquitoes and sand flies, especially around dusk. They'll bite through thin clothes. Great for peace and quiet, less so if you're after somewhere lively. I'd give it 4 out of 5.

This is a quiet choice with a private beach, though it's a long way from town. The cane cabins are very basic, so look elsewhere for luxury. For the price, they're nice, and the family who work there are very friendly.

Quiet place close to the beach, with a free shuttle into the city center. I'd recommend it.
