Green View Beach Resort

The garden is beautifully cared for, and the bungalows are spaced so you get a private little area, though people do walk past on their way to their own hut now and then. The staff were very friendly, and the woman at reception was great. She helped with diving and snorkeling plans and gave us food and drink recommendations. Fresh towels and sheets were easy to get. The resort is right on the beach and only two minutes from Walking Street. Read the website before booking, as some bungalows don't have hot water. The water is warmed by the sun and cleaned, so it's safe for brushing your teeth, and it wasn't too cold. I usually hate cold showers, but after long days in the sun I enjoyed these slightly chilly ones. The fan was enough for me, and the bungalow caught the sea breeze, which helped cool it down. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back to Koh Lipe.

Staying in a bamboo hut in the peaceful garden was one of the highlights of my trip. I found the place by accident on Booking and would definitely return. For such a touristy island, the price is great, and it's close to the beach. The host is super friendly and helps with all sorts of things, from laundry and ferry or bus bookings to snorkeling. I especially liked that they support the local community, look after local dogs, and try to preserve nature. It's clear they care about their environmental impact. If sustainability matters to you, just make sure to read the property information before you book.

Talay, the owner, was so friendly and gave us great insider tips for restaurants, activities and day trips. This is a hidden gem right on the beach. The simple, clean bungalows sit between trees that give you some privacy. We'll be back.

There are deck chairs right on Pattaya Beach, plus a bar and free snorkel gear to borrow. A lovely spot to stay on Koh Lipe.
