The host is such a sweetheart. Even with the language barrier, he does all he can to help. Rooms are cleaned every day, and they provide water plus tea and coffee. The accommodation was great value, even over the New Year holidays.

There's a small landfill nearby. I didn't notice any effects from it, though it's a bit of an eyesore, especially given that this is a national park. Otherwise, the hotel was good, with an attentive, pleasant host and service.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, and they'll take you anywhere you need to go for free. Ko Lipe is small and walkable, but the help is handy. As soon as we arrived, someone took us to a restaurant on Walking Street, which is just a few steps away and right in the centre. This is a simple, clean hotel that costs much less than others. Our price included a very good breakfast served in the room. The room had air conditioning and a fan, a comfortable bed, and even another bed out on the terrace. There was also a large bathroom, a little table outside, a spacious closet, and a desk. I'd highly recommend staying here when visiting Ko Lipe.
