We ended up paying for four extra nights elsewhere, and the hotel didn't respond to our emails. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if something goes wrong, since communication was nearly impossible. At first, the staff welcomed us nicely and were kind. Then we found a cockroach on the bed, ants in the bathroom, and a clogged shower. It was May, and the air conditioning didn't work properly. Outside, the mosquitoes were aggressive. Staff let us move to another room, but its AC had the same problem. After that, we spoke with management by phone. The woman was extremely rude and kept shouting “no refund.” I understand the situation, but wish we'd been given a clean room with working AC, or at least a little empathy. It didn't feel professional.

The owners were really friendly, and their kids were so sweet too. The place was clean and in a great spot, tucked away from the busy parts but still within a 10-minute walk of both Sunrise and Sunset Beach. There's also a shortcut to Sunrise, plus a nice smoothie place down the road on the corner. They'll give you a free ride wherever you need to go, and getting back is easy enough since everything's nearby. I'd happily stay here again.

The bungalows are in a quiet area, so we slept well. Staff were polite and friendly, and gave us rides to walking street several times. The rooms were clean and nice, and the place seemed quite new. They cleaned our room every day, which was great. I'd recommend it.

The driver was a lovely surprise and took us everywhere, which we really appreciated. Staff were very kind, and the private bungalows were great. The surroundings felt a bit wild, but gave the place a nice island feel. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The room was spacious and nice, and the cat and dogs were very sweet. The person running the place went out of his way to make our stay good, giving us rides into town and being really friendly. It's an easy walk of about 15 minutes, and getting a ride is simple too. Honestly, this was the best place we stayed in Thailand. I'd recommend it without hesitation.
