Ricci House Resort

We had a wonderful stay as a family. The young woman at reception was kind and really helpful. We'd made a mistake and missed one night, but the owner helped us out without us even asking. Even with high season crowds across the island, they found us a lovely room so we could extend our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.

Lisa deserves a big shout-out for making our Koh Lipe visit special. Her customer service was fantastic. They collected us at the ferry terminal after immigration, spotted us as soon as we came through, then took us and our luggage straight to the hotel. Immigration had taken a while. The rooms were clean and spacious, with no complaints there. The patio was nice, and there's a jet spray outside each room for washing up. The location is ideal, right by the beginning of the walking street. There's also a local food restaurant across from the hotel that's well worth trying.

The location is superb: just two minutes from the walking street, near 7e, with lots of places to eat nearby. Sunrise Beach is a five-minute walk away. Sunset Beach takes around 20 minutes on foot, or about five minutes by bike taxi. They provide transport between the jetty and hotel in both directions. The front desk service was really good. I think the friendly, welcoming woman was Lisa. The room was reasonably clean, and they had a water pipe outside to rinse off sand before coming in, plus outdoor seating and mosquito repellent. Only two pillows were provided. Breakfast was available, but we hadn't booked it; looking at the menu, I didn't think it was worth the price. It was a good stay and I'd return. That's just how it went for me, your experience might be different.

The bungalow had everything we needed, and the staff were really friendly. They also included pickup and drop-off at the pier. The location worked great: about two minutes from Walking Street and six minutes from the beach. Close to things, but still quiet. Breakfast was cooked to order, tasty, and had around six choices.
