The Colour Hotel

I paid 800 baht for one night, and it really didn't feel worth that price. The floor seemed unclean, the pillows were very flat as if they'd been used for ages, and there were cockroaches and spiders. The room had a musty smell, and the bathroom smelled foul too. Even with the air conditioner set to 16 degrees Celsius, the room wouldn't cool down. I'm sharing this so the service can improve and, hopefully, guests will be happier and come back.

For the price, it wasn't worth staying. The pillows smelled awful, and the mattress still had its plastic cover on, which rustled while I was trying to sleep. There was a refrigerator, but it wasn't plugged in, so the bottled water had been left outside it.

The place is convenient and good, though I wish they'd provide an extra blanket. Charging another 100 baht for one seems unusual, especially for people working and sleeping in shared beds. It would be nice to have spare blankets available.

The room was clean and really nice, though the thin walls let in noise and the curtains barely kept the light out. I nearly melted when I woke up. My main problem was the female staff member on the night shift; she spoke to me very badly. I had paid, I wasn't asking for a free night.
