Oakwood hotel & Residence Sri Racha

The service was outstanding, with good breakfast choices, an all-day dining restaurant, and a fully equipped gym. The hotel is in a nice area, surrounded by restaurants and massage places, with easy access and a park nearby. Still, I’d rate it four stars rather than the five it claims. I found a lot of hair in the bathtub, which I hadn’t used, and the photos show the cleanliness issue too. If the hotel improves its overall cleanliness, then it could claim five stars.

I keep finding the standard consistently good each time I stay. The one-bedroom premium is worth the reasonable price, with its separate bedroom and living space and wide sea view. I especially love the location next to a large park, great for running toward Koh Loy. There’s also an ocean-view infinity pool and an onsen for unwinding. Breakfast is standard. Parking can be a little far away when it’s busy, though manageable. Some facilities and items are a bit worn, but that’s understandable.

The pool has great bay views, and the hotel also has a library and co-working area, a TV and gaming room, yoga studio, well-equipped gym, and golf practice nets. There’s a large adjoining car park, with a covered walkway straight into Level 1. I found it an excellent, comfortable, well-equipped hotel in Sriracha. It’s clearly geared toward golfers, with the swing nets on the activities level next to the gym. The location is right in the heart of Sriracha, within walking distance of Koh Loi and Robinsons Mall. A free tuk-tuk runs to nearby spots, including Central Mall and the main hospital. Koh Loi is about a 20-minute walk. Shops, restaurants, and massage places are just minutes away on foot. I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, though other room types are available. It was very well appointed, with a fridge, tea and coffee, safe, washing machine, and plenty more. You can request anything missing from reception. The balconies are locked for safety, but reception can arrange access. The huge bed was very comfortable, and the spacious bathroom had a Japanese-style toilet plus separate shower and bath. There were TVs in both the bedroom and living room. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time. The rooftop bar is another option, and the main restaurant is downstairs. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great buffet and lots of dishes cooked to order in a live show-cooking style.

Alex at the lobby reception handled the problem professionally and looked after us throughout the stay. My wife and I were really grateful for his customer-focused approach. When I reported that the room smelled of smoke, he first arranged for staff to spray it, but that didn’t help. On the second morning, I asked to change rooms. He was willing to help and quickly moved us to a new room with an upgrade, solving the issue within minutes. We’d been impressed during our first visit, which is why we came back. This two-night trip was nearly a bad experience, but Alex’s help made a real difference. Thanks for taking care of us during our stay.
