We rented a room for a year to give it a try. It’s comfortable enough, but the rooms are put together with cheap, weak materials. The wall can’t support a big TV, only a small one around 34 inches. The hallways get very hot on every floor because there’s no ventilation. The balcony is even worse, with two air conditioner units blowing hot air straight onto it. The bathroom door also opens inward toward the bathroom, which isn’t a great idea.

Quiet place with kind staff. It’s far from everything, though, so you need a car to stay here.

I’ve been here almost a month, so I can say it feels a bit old-fashioned. It’s a remote fishing village, and I’d recommend it if you just want to stay in and do nothing. Getting around without a car isn’t easy, so keep that in mind. The water is great to sit and look at. The way things are handled by the Thai people can be a little annoying, and getting the Wi-Fi fixed takes a long time.

There’s plenty of parking, and the sea view over Koh Si Chang is beautiful. The room is very spacious, with separate areas for the bedroom, a living room with two TVs, and a kitchen. It also has a balcony and washing machine.
