For 550 baht after a little bargaining with the owner, I got a clean, fairly roomy place with a double bed and air conditioning. There was no fridge, but I could bring my bicycle inside overnight. The resort is just outside the town, which is quite spread out, and a few local places to eat are a 5-10 minute walk away. You'll need your own transport to explore other parts of this appealing town and its clean little beaches. I was cycling south and stayed one night, though looking back, I could have stayed two.
