The setting is very quiet, though there’s nothing particularly special about it, and the beach is a long walk away. The surrounding garden is a working oil palm plantation, with rural service roads for the palms rather than paths or activities. It felt more like a motel than a resort. Rooms are modest, with a fridge, kettle and glasses, but no wardrobe or safe. For cleaning, you need to tell reception or the room won’t be serviced, even when daily cleaning is included. The maid eventually apologized for missing it.

We got rooms at the back of the resort and liked them. The rate was reasonable compared with the other resorts we visited that day.

We’d booked two twin rooms, but were given three double rooms instead. We had to pay extra for an additional bed. The rooms were good, though the outside area needs a lot of attention.

For 700 baht a night, it was good value, and the room at the back looked just like the pictures. It had all the amenities, a good air conditioner and hot water, and the fridge got really cold. The room itself was comfortable and better than I expected, though it could’ve been cleaner. Maybe the steady flow of guests leaves little time for cleaning. The bed was much too hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. We only noticed the place to hang clothes out back after we returned from swimming. We’ll still stay here again next time.
