The owner’s help is what I’ll remember most. My bike broke down in the morning, and he came over to calm me down and said we’d work through it step by step. He then spent four hours, starting at 8 a.m., driving me around in his own car to look for bike parts. When we needed something else, he took me about 40 kilometers to a bigger city. It was around 80 kilometers round trip, all so I could continue my bikepacking journey from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur. He only accepted some gas money. I bought him breakfast and thanked him as much as I could, but the time he gave me felt like a gift. He didn’t just help with the bike, he saved my route and my dream of carrying on. That kind of kindness made all the difference, and I’m incredibly grateful. I stayed here last night because it was on my route, and this became an experience I won’t forget. The hotel is run by someone who truly cares. I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you want a room and a helping hand from a genuinely kind owner.
