Nattaya S.
The sunset was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The drive in is a little long, though the road is in good shape. For the downhill trip, ask the resort staff about the shortcut. It suits high-clearance vehicles and is much faster, but I wouldn't take it uphill because it would wear you out. The VIP rooms are lightweight construction and not soundproof. The blankets and pillows weren't very comfortable, and the air conditioning wasn't very cold, though you can run a fan with it. The shower pressure was weak and the water took a while to heat up; pressure elsewhere was fine. They provided an ice bucket, but no hairdryer or toothbrush. At over 2,000 baht, I don't think the room would be worth the price. We had breakfast included, with fried eggs and rice porridge. The BBQ room's charcoal was damp, so bring a fan, even a small one, to get it going. The marinated pork was good, and the dipping sauce was delicious. Check expiry dates on anything you buy at the convenience store or use in the room. We told the staff about it, and they were happy to make improvements. Before we left, the resort offered samples of lotion, shampoo, and hair serum.
