We only stopped here overnight during a long drive north, but I'd like to stay again. It's quaint and has a real, down-to-earth feel. Not posh or flashy.

For 500 baht, the rooms are cheap. They must have been lovely once, but now they're run-down, and the beds are hard enough that I could feel the springs. If you're not fussy, it's acceptable for the price. Service was good, and the food you can order was tasty. Dogs are allowed, and the weather was nice. The guesthouse looks out over the reservoir, but there are lots of mosquitoes, so bring repellent.

I couldn't sleep during my stay because a nearby resort had a loud party. There was also a group of drunk people inside the resort, singing and shouting loudly. My room floor wasn't clean, the restaurant was overpriced, and pickup trucks shouldn't be brought into the parking area unless you have one.
