LG Lemon Grass

The hotel was shut when we got there, with nobody around. I’d booked through agoda, paid, and received confirmation, but my calls to two phone numbers and one mobile went unanswered. Luckily we found somewhere else, though it cost us a couple of hours of our weekend trip. Very unreliable. If you need to be sure you’ll have a place to sleep, don’t book this hotel.

I went to LG Lemon grass and told the receptionist we didn’t need the rooms. She agreed at the time, but later wouldn’t refund the cancellation fees, even after several reminders, and didn’t reply to those messages. That’s not the hospitality I expected. The staff member was unfriendly, and I wouldn’t recommend this property.

It’s a quiet spot, about a five minute walk from the beach. My room’s Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the broken door lock meant I had to ask staff to let me in each time. I was only there for one night, so it wasn’t a huge problem.

I ended up having to book twice for one trip, which was really disappointing. I had an issue with my check-in date, but the reception staff wouldn’t help. They said the manager wasn’t working on Saturday or Sunday, and couldn’t answer the phone in English or respond to email. The hotel is open every day, yet the reception service wasn’t available when I needed it. There seemed to be no proper information or reservation system for check-in, cancellations, or contacting the booking company by email or phone. Staff and management need to be better trained and quicker to respond.
