The main problem for me was the noise, and both nights ended up being short. Dogs at nearby houses barked late and started again early, waking me both mornings. On the second morning, something walked across the metal parking roof. I guessed birds, though it sounded more like monkeys, and I didn’t open the curtain to check. A woman in the parking lot then shouted to the attendant, who answered over the microphone in his booth. On both nights, loud music carried on until 2 a.m.; I couldn’t tell whether it came from the hotel or just outside. The TV screen was scratched, but that didn’t bother me since I don’t watch TV. During the day, though, I had a very positive stay. The English-speaking receptionist was attentive and friendly, and my fourth-floor room was sparkling clean and comfortable. The bedding was good, there was a wardrobe, and I especially liked the bedside lamp and the colourful flowers on the tables. The table worked well for my laptop. The toilet, shower, and water heater all worked properly, and the lobby had a water filter and microwave. The market was a short walk away.
