I booked a twin room, but at check-in the counter said only a double was available. The listing says there's a hair dryer, though you actually need to borrow one from the counter downstairs. The room's air-conditioning remote didn't work, so I couldn't turn it off or adjust the temperature. Bathroom water pressure was weak and the water wasn't hot. The towels looked clean but were damaged. There was some unknown frozen liquid in the refrigerator freezer, so I'm not sure it had been cleaned. The Wi-Fi notices were confusing: one in the room says it costs 50 baht, while the elevator notice says the charge has been cancelled. It seemed like Wi-Fi was free.

For the price, location, and what they provide, it's a solid four stars and hard to complain. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and hair dryer.

A simple, mostly self-service place, with shopping, food stalls and street markets a couple of blocks away. Robinsons, a big mall, is just a little more than a stone's throw from here. There's also a laundromat and a good currency exchanger within easy walking distance.
