The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the rooms looked neat, new, and well cared for. The garden is nicely kept beside a clean river, and the outdoor dining area with umbrellas was lovely for a cool December breakfast. There was a decent mix of Western and local food, enough to be filling. Our room had a TV with Netflix, a safe that fit passports and small items but not a laptop, and air conditioning that worked well. The fan-only setting came in handy at night because the air felt drier than we were used to. They also replenished the water and snacks each day during room service. The main drawback was noise coming through the walls and doors. We could hear people talking in the corridor and feel and hear other rooms' doors closing. When we called our second room, the phone rang audibly through two closed doors. Road noise at night also depended on which way the window faced. Some people may not mind it, but I noticed it. Even so, it was a good stay.

I especially liked having breakfast outside, looking onto the garden and river. The choices were limited, but the food was nice and healthy. The room was small, very clean, and kept in good shape, with a strong shower and quiet, cool air conditioning. The staff were kind and helpful. I checked in during the evening without having had dinner, so finding the free sweets and snacks in the room was a welcome treat.

The hotel looked a little different from the photos, but it was still in excellent condition. We had a pleasant stay, and the breakfast selection worked well for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

We spent four nights here, and the manager and staff were very accommodating. The garden and water views from a river-facing room made the small extra cost worthwhile. Having breakfast in the sunny garden terrace was refreshing.
