Rung Aroon Hotel By Le Siri

The owner was incredibly kind and treated me like family. The place is peaceful and clean, with spacious, very nice rooms. Best hotel near Raumchok.

We had a pleasant stay for three nights. The interiors were very nice, and our room was clean and comfortable with only a little wear and tear. Breakfast was decent, if not the best: the buffet had a few choices each day, and I’m usually happy if there are fried or scrambled eggs with rice. The location isn't touristy, but taxis are easy to get in Chiang Mai.

It feels new and is super clean, though it turns out it's already been here for many years. The spot is convenient for supermarkets, the food street and popular places like Coconut Market and JJ market. It's a little way from the city center, which makes it more peaceful and serene. Breakfast is good, with different Thai dishes each day. The owner is thoughtful and super friendly. He packed sandwiches 🥪 for our very early, long road trip one day, and gave us Mandarin oranges 🍊🍊😍😍 since we were visiting during Lunar New Year. There were some black ants around the basins, but they don't bite. Just let housekeeping know and they'll sort it out.

I picked this place because it was close to the gym where I was training, and being a little outside the center also meant it was quiet enough to sleep well. The facilities were clean and good, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were so friendly and great. Really good value for the money, and I'd recommend it.
