Baan Khun Krub

Gavin and Dom make this a relaxed but professional guest house, and Sarah, the new recruit, is already great at her job. Staff, service, atmosphere, and location were all excellent. Sorry, Gavin, for keeping you talking for 3 hours after dinner one night, but the beers were cold and the Larb was the best! Once you find it down the little side alley by a bar and tattoo shop, you're in a quiet, leafy spot for breakfast or a beer. In my opinion, you couldn't ask for a better location in the old town. Sunday walking street is a 3 minutes walk away, with bars, restaurants, massage places, and the Irish pub all close by. It felt safe walking around at night. We liked our stay and the room upgrade, and even though you're an Aussie, you're alright! 😊 We'll be back, but only after you replace the gravel yoga area with a pool!

Dom's in-house cooking class was authentic and great fun. Breakfast was high quality, with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Gavin, Dom, and the rest of the staff made my girlfriend and me feel at home and made our stay absolutely brilliant. A fantastic guesthouse in the heart of Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!

We loved our 8 nights here. The room was lovely, with air conditioning and a big bathroom, and the spot was very quiet despite being right in the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and really helpful. There's also a little on-site restaurant with great, cheap food. We'll definitely stay again!

The breakfast was amazing, I'd go back just for that. We were also impressed by how friendly and helpful the host and staff were, always ready with tips on getting around and things to see and do. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the town's points of interest.
