The room was clean and a good size, and the price was reasonable. The woman at the front desk helped us a lot, even booking us a bus to Pai. We also left a backpack there for a while. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

The lobby is really beautiful, and the hotel offers great value for the price.

The owner greeted me, and I really appreciated how kind and attentive she was. There are restaurants, cafes, massage places and a temple nearby. On Ratchadamnoen Rd in Chiang Mai’s old city, this hostel is very well placed. If you’re traveling on a budget and want a private room instead of sharing a dorm, the value is hard to beat. Don’t expect luxury, but my room had working AC, a comfortable bed and a functioning bathroom. There’s a lot to see around the city, so it’s easy to head out early and only come back late to sleep. It’s a good choice if you’re after a well-located bed for the night.

The location in the center of the old town is the one good thing about this hotel. The shower had very little pressure, so I had to wash over the toilet. The sink looked as if it had never been cleaned, and the water smelled of iron. The room smelled damp no matter how long I ran the AC in dry mode. Its window faced the aisle and could not be closed, with only an insect screen and curtain, so sounds from every room carried through. The bed was hard, as is common in cheap Thai hotels, and the pillow felt like a leather-like couch cushion.
