Aristo Chic Resort and Farm

We put together our own vegetarian breakfast sandwiches, and the hotel was happy to accommodate what we asked for. The setting is surrounded by nature, so the bugs inside are understandable, though they really are everywhere. We also spotted some huge lizards on the walls. It’s in a great spot between the mountains, with a lovely night sky.

We had to stay the first night because we arrived so late. When we asked to get the cost of the next two nights back, the resort refused, which left a very bad impression. Inside, there were bugs everywhere, including cockroaches and bees. The pillow smelled bad, and we found a dead spider on the bed. The jacuzzi had both dead and live bugs in it. The foot scrapers inside and outside the room were very dirty.

It’s a quiet place with a lot of space, though it’s quite far from town. The room was clean, with a distinctive style and a private area. Service was okay, enough for the stay.

The weather was nice, and that’s the one good thing I can say. We booked a house, but the room felt stuffy, the toilet looked unwashed, and the roof leaked onto my face while I was sleeping. Think twice before booking. The photos look nothing like the actual place.
