Their bakery makes its own chocolate and cocoa. Both are worth a try.

The bakery was a real highlight for me. I tried what I think was the best cake I’ve had in Thailand, and the owner said they planned to open a bakery shop soon. I’d call it a must-try bakery if you visit Thailand. I also want to respond to Gaz’s comment. I’m Thai, but I was born and raised in Australia, and I came here with my family for a holiday last month. The resort was superb: our accommodation was cute and unusual, everything was peaceful and quiet, and the service was excellent. The owners, a lovely couple, welcomed me warmly, like family. My niece had a great time playing with all the rabbits, and the big swimming pool is a facility many resorts in Suan Peung don’t have. Compared with other places, this resort has plenty to offer. I agree with the resort’s decision not to sell alcohol. The travelling book describes Suan Peung as a place to enjoy nature and peace, and that fits the resort. I’m not sure what Gaz was talking about. I’ll definitely come back when I get the chance to return to Thailand. I hope people write honestly here so others get a true picture of the resort.

I’m paying 4, 500 a night and, as the staff put it, it’s “the room only.” There’s no restaurant, service, or alcohol. Absolutely shocking. I feel stuck in the middle of nowhere.
