Nangpayahill Resort

Nice and clean, and a good place to relax.

The extra bed sagged badly, and I woke up with a sore back. For a room that costs 900 a night, I expected better. We booked two rooms. In one, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and the other bathroom had no hot water, so I had to go outside to use a bathroom. When I reported it to the office in the morning, the staff said there weren't many people looking after the place. All I could say was, "Oh...!"

The rooms in the main building have a lovely view over the Tanaosri mountain range, and the air around the resort feels nice. It's calm there, too. But there's no soundproofing at all. Late at night I could hear the next room unlocking its door, and even the toilet flushing. Oh my god! The staff seemed confused as well. The photo I attached is from my stay in 2017. I could hear sounds from the seminar room as I walked around. They seemed to hold events there regularly, and when people asked for applause, I joined in. Haha, I still don't know what they were selling. My dad knows the resort owner, which is why we stayed there. But when I asked the staff about the owner, they didn't know who he was. So confusing!
