Everything else was okay, but sleeping was really difficult. The place is beside the main road, with lots of motorbikes going by at night. Any soundproofing there isn’t doing its job, and the engine noise bounces off the walls and gets even louder.
It’s clean and comfortable, with the essentials covered, though no extras. The price isn’t too high, and being in the middle of everything makes it handy for getting to other places.

This was the first time in all my travels that I’d give a place’s service one star. It’s self-service, and for 800 baht I got a single bed on the 3rd floor. There was no breakfast or kettle in the room. If you want hot water, you have to get up early and plug one in yourself. They hand over the key at check-in, then you leave it in a basket when you check out. The whole setup is confusing.
The room feels cramped, and the mattress sits on a raised platform instead of a proper bed. It’s hard to get up from, especially for elderly guests, and the mattress squeaks whenever you turn, which gets very annoying. There are things left hanging on the door every day, and no housekeeper comes to clean.
