The view made the climb worthwhile. Through the lovely trees, we woke up to lush green hills. Our room was on a steep hill, so we used the golf cart to haul our luggage; otherwise you can walk up and down for exercise, though I wouldn’t recommend that for out-of-shape seniors. The room seemed a little tilted. If you don’t get seasick easily and don’t mind an old bathtub in a picturesque bathroom, you’d probably love the place.

For two adults and two children, the price in the hundreds of baht is an incredible deal. There’s a swimming pool, and you can order room service, including BBQ and à la carte food. Parking is in front of the hotel, with a golf cart shuttle to the rooms on the hillside, where there are 360-degree views. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned, with bathrobes, bottled water, a dressing table with mirror and chair, a sofa, TV, and Wi-Fi.

Baan Pruksa was awful. The place was dirty and worn out, the air conditioning barely cooled, and the bed was hard and crappy. The sofa and fan looked like antiques and were dirty too. The bathroom was difficult to use, and nothing felt good. The price wasn’t cheap, and the place was completely different from its description. If they improved it, people might want to return, but I won’t. This was a one-time stay, and I don’t dare go back.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights there, and the kids in the kitchen were adorable. Both male golf cart drivers were lovely, with such good manners, kindness, and helpfulness. Nothing disappointed us. We were so impressed that we’ll definitely come back.💓💓💓
