We paid 1000B weeks ahead for nearly all the rooms for our group’s event, which started at 3pm, but when it was time to leave, most rooms still weren’t clean or ready and had no towels. Most of us couldn’t shower before the party. The rooms were shabby, with old dust and garbage that smelled like it had been sitting there for days or weeks. The pool was a green, slimy hole. The owner was rude about it and acted like booking so many rooms was our fault. We were charged 1000B because it was a holiday. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The Thai massage here helped unblock a pinched nerve in my neck, and they diagnosed the problem and treated it really well. That’s why I’m giving five stars. The bungalows are nice for this price, and the pool gets cleaned every day. It’s a peaceful spot close to shops, markets, restaurants and other things you need. My three kids loved the shade, pool and all the birds, especially sparrows, which we don’t see much in our country.

The location is convenient, close to everything, and the owner was very nice and explained that the pool was under maintenance. But at 440 Bahts a night, this room felt overpriced. The bed and pillow were okay, though there was no fridge and the bathroom was very basic, with a toilet roll used to block a hole. The electric cable wasn’t attached to the ceiling, and the room was closed with a padlock. It could use an overhaul. I won’t be coming back.

We stayed near the main road, but the guesthouse itself was peaceful and lovely. After a hot day cycling around the ruins, the pool was just what we wanted. They also serve good food, and you can have a massage in your bedroom. Everything was clean and the staff were nice. We paid 300 baht for a basic double room in low season, which was great value.
