Candy Bar Resort

The room is spacious, the air conditioning gets cold, and the water pressure is strong. But it's in a rather secluded alley and the place is old. The spring mattress digs into my back, and my shins hurt when they hit its edge. The toilet bowl was dirty, and I found two cockroaches when I opened the bathroom door. At 500 baht, it's a house that's not expensive, but it wasn't worth it to me at all. The bed is poor quality. I'm writing this to help the owner improve and make the stay better for customers.

Good accommodation near the ancient city, with a big bathroom and a water heater.

There’s plenty of room, with a 6-foot single bed and parking right beside the room. It was quiet, and there’s a private spot outside with a table and chairs. The room also has air conditioning, hot water, a mini-fridge, TV, soap, towels, and a clothes rack. (Friday, September 19, 2024)

For 500 baht, this was really disappointing. Dust was everywhere, and gecko droppings were on the headboard and pillowcases. The heater was turned all the way up, but the water was only lukewarm. We had called ahead to reserve the last room, away from the others, and the resort should have checked and cleaned it. A 350 baht room on the main road is far better value.
