There’s a very affectionate, sweet cat here who headbutts you and climbs into your lap. The guesthouse itself is simple, clean, comfortable, and quiet, just a 2 minute walk from the central zone temple entrance and the only proper restaurants in Old Sukhothai. They can arrange a tuktuk to New Sukhothai Bus Terminal for 200 baht. My only complaint was the mattress, which is very, very hard, almost like sleeping on a rock.

I arrived late in the evening alone and without a booking, but they still gave me great help. The actual cabin and check-in are down the street, as shown in the photo. The location is convenient for the main temple and night markets, and the rooms are probably among the best priced in the city. Wi-Fi was solid, and breakfast came with juice, coffee, and toast. The hospitality was really good, and they gave me plenty of free mangoes. I also met a puppy who enjoyed mangoes too!

The guesthouse is a lovely hidden gem, with a short walk to the Historical Park and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven close by. The owners are so friendly and attentive. My room was clean and lovely, with a roomy bathroom, hot water, comfortable beds and pillows, and quiet a/c. Wi-Fi was fast and strong.

Lucky the cat was adorable, and the hosts made us feel extremely welcome. It was a peaceful stay right beside Sukhothai national park.
