Vieng Tawan Sukhothai Hotel by Thai Thai

We stayed as two couples in two rooms in December 2025. The pool made us very happy, and there's an excellent massage service you can call. The rooms were clean and the service good; staff were friendly and helpful, though their English wasn't great. It's a shame there's no food on site, even though you can see there used to be. You can rent very basic bikes to explore the historic park. They're slow and feel as if they could fall apart soon, and the brakes might not work, but riding them is a lot of fun. I highly recommend giving it a try.

May and Napa were the highlight for us. They were welcoming, kind, professional, and attentive, and May quickly tried to address the problem when I told her the shower drain smelled strongly unpleasant. The water pressure was low and the water barely warm. The room, though, was spotless, beautiful, and comfortable. May also helped arrange an early morning taxi, even though we asked at the last minute. The staff's kindness and dedication made our stay much more enjoyable.

We liked the pool, and the hotel is close to the Historical Park. Bikes are available to rent, and they can arrange tuktuks into town. We first booked two nights, then added one more. The room and bathroom were nice, and the staff were helpful and happy to answer questions or book bus tickets to other cities. They cleaned the room every day. Great value for money, highly recommended.

A peaceful, lovely spot, with a calm pool area and fluffy white towels. The rooms were spotless, the staff friendly, and you can rent bikes or get massages in your room. Such a reasonable price for all that. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in sukhothai.
